Human Resources Administrative Assistant
1-Year Full Time Contract Position

At Key Assets, the HR Administrative Assistant will support the HR Team in ensuring the accurate and safe storage/management of all HR records, databases, and systems in compliance with privacy and labour regulations across Canada. This is a very fast paced role with high volume tasks, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced environment and posses strong organizational and time keeping skills.

The HR Administrative Assistant will assist to complete the following, but is not limited to

  • Assists with aspects of employee recruitment and screening including advertising job openings, sorting, and reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews on an as needed basis.
  • Prepares orientation packages and assists with the on-boarding process of new employees where necessary and as needed.
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal and licensing requirements within each jurisdiction.
  • Updates company organizational chart
  • Assists in updating of the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual and hiring section of the website.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work from the head office and also work from home remotely. A work schedule will be determined to best fit the needs of the Employer and Employee.

Education & Experience:
To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Administration or a related field such as Office Administration or Business Administration.
  • A Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administration.
  • Have sound knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Experience with HR Management Systems and Databases

Additional Requirements:

  • Clear Certificate of Conduct from RNC/RCMP
  • Valid Newfoundland and Labrador Driver’s License
  • Valid Proof of Canadian Residency
