Brian Kenny

have over 25 years’ experience working with parents in the post-separation environment. This involves: child custody issues; assisting parents in developing a co-parenting plan; addressing communications issues in the post-separation environment; addressing children’s resistance to parental contact following separation; concerns regarding parent alienation; blended family issues; and support in the use of a Parent Coordinator in high conflict, post separation environments.

My work involves individual, couples and family counseling.

I have worked with many teenage boys over the years who are reluctant to engage in “counseling” but are receptive to a professional “coach” who may guide them through issues associated with anxiety, depression, etc.

I am on the Board of Directors of the Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland, I teach the Communications and Conflict Resolution component of a local marriage preparation course and am an active supporter of the Kidney Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.

I’m an avid runner, soccer player and golfer – and I don’t lose as many golf balls as I once did.
