Autism Supports & Services

In October 2021 Key Assets NL commenced the development of a robust Autism Supports and Services Program consisting of a contracted BCBA Supervisor (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), BCBA candidate and eight Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs). The BCBA program is a two-year post graduate study program involving the scientific, systematic, and strategic approach to learning behavior and teaching young persons and families how to manage challenging behavior. It is implemented as an intensive therapeutic practice and focuses on socially significant behavior, characterized by ongoing and systematic observation, data collection, and frequent evaluation of the young person’s progress. This therapy primarily focuses on building functional skills while also replacing behaviors that interfere with the individual’s ability to learn or effectively function in their daily life.  Our staffed BCBA team member creates the programming tailored to the needs of the young person and family, and then directly oversee the RBT’s that implement the programming and provide the direct service delivery.
