David is a Certified Professional Accountant with over fifteen years of providing guidance and oversight to the financial processes of several organizations, including private industry and government. David brings significant direct experience working with non-profit organizations in the child service sector from his previous role of Executive Director of Financial Services for the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. As an experienced steward of public funds, David is well versed in managing budgets, producing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. However, David is most excited to provide valuable contributions to strategic planning and operations to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
